Vegetable Pizza with Crescent Rolls Recipe

This is a fun vegetable pizza that everyone will love, from grownups down to the kids. Lots of cold vegetable pizza with crescent rolls recipes use cream cheese and dill, but this one adds in sour cream, for an even better taste. Combine that with mayonnaise, dill spread and garlic and you have got a great special occasion appetizer.

Cover the spread with assorted vegetables of your choice (some are suggested below) and sprinkle with your favorite shredded cheese for a real taste treat. You and your family will love this easy cold pizza made with simple ingredients and very little cooking.

Simple Vegetable Pizza with a Crescent Roll Crust

Ingredients –

1 eight ounce can refrigerated commercial crescent rolls
1 three ounce package cream cheese, softened
⅓ cup sour cream
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh dill weed, chopped
2 cups assorted raw vegetables, chopped (broccoli, cherry tomatoes, squash, cauliflower, cucumbers, and carrots are all excellent choices.)
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Open and unroll packages of crescent dough. Place dough on a baking sheet or pizza pan and form into one sheet of dough, smoothing perforations and joins. Bake fifteen minutes, or until lightly browned on top. Allow to cool.

In a medium sized bowl, combine sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and spices. Mix until smooth. Spread over cooked dough in an even layer and top with cut vegetables. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and cut into pieces. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
