Awesome Vegetarian Pizza

Ingredients –

5 cups of all-purpose white flour
1 ¾ tablespoons of yeast
1 ¾ tablespoons of warm water
1 ⅓ tablespoons of olive oil
1 pound of grated cheese to melt
1 12 oz. can of tomato sauce
½ pound of olives, stuffed with garlic
1 can of roasted red peppers
1 can of artichoke hearts
1 small onion
Salt and pepper, to taste

The first thing that must be done is to prepare the dough. This is done by combining the yeast and warm water in a small mixing bowl, afterward mixing them in with the flour and olive oil in a larger bowl. The resulting ball of dough must be kneaded for 10 minutes, after which it is set aside to rise for 2 hours.

Open the can of tomato sauce and place it in a saucepan. Set the stove to low heat, and let the tomato sauce simmer for no less than 45 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Once the dough has finished rising, roll it into separate pizza crusts. Place these crusts in the oven to bake until stiff, which requires about 15 minutes at most.

Chop the various toppings.

Spread the tomato sauce on the crusts, sprinkle the grated cheese, and add the chopped toppings to your heart’s content.

Place in the oven at 350 degrees F for no less than 20 minutes, and serve while hot.
