Crispy Thin Crust Pizza Dough Recipe
This thin crust pizza dough does not contain yeast. Yeast is what makes dough rise but is not necessary for a thin crust pizza, so if you do not have yeast, you can still make this. Thin crust pizzas make a nice change from deep pan or thick crust pizzas and some people like this type of crust better.
The mixture of white and whole-wheat flour gives this pizza dough recipe a nutty, wholesome flavor. Good toppings for this kind of dough include sliced cold meats, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, zucchini, mozzarella, pine nuts, fresh spinach and pineapple chunks. A good pizza-making tip is to make sure all your topping ingredients are finely sliced for the best results.
