A Completely Gluten Free Pizza Crust Recipe
This pizza dough recipe is great for anyone with an intolerance to glucose. This recipe produces a thin and crispy pizza crust rather than a deep, bread type of crust and is great with vegetarian pizza recipes. One good idea is to spread tomato sauce on the base then add roasted vegetables and cheese on top.
You can also add oregano and basil to the mixture. The cooking time for this gluten free pizza crust recipe depends on the toppings you use and how deeply you layer them. If you like, you can sprinkle some cornmeal into the baking dish before adding the dough for extra flavor.

Ingredients –
1 teaspoon salt 1 ½ cups warm water 1 tablespoon honey 1 cup prepared pizza sauce ½ teaspoon xanthan gum 2 ½ cups rice flour ¼ oz gluten-free quick rise yeast 3 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Mix together the yeast, flour, xanthan gum and salt. Stir in a cup of water with the honey and olive oil.
Knead the dough and add just enough of the remaining water to hold it together. Knead for 5 minutes. Cover and rest 10 minutes.
Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan and flatten the dough into a round disk, pressing it into the pan.
Add sauce, toppings, and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Use a pizza wheel or sharp knife to cut the pizza into wedges.
