Spicy Sausage Pizza on the Grill
Sometimes you just need something a little spicy. Make our hot sausage pizza and you will get what you are craving. The sweet tomatoes, spicy sausage, and mellow bell peppers make a pizza that tastes great. Fire up your grill and let a few of these pizzas start to sizzle. They are so fast to make that you can add them to any meal. Grilling pizzas is the hottest new cooking trend; do not miss out on some of the tastiest pizza you will ever make.
Precook your sausage. You can use slices of sausage links if you like, but crumbled sausage works just fine. Choose your choice of sweet or hot Italian sausage for the best flavor. The creamy cheese melts all over the thin slices of tomatoes, creating an impromptu sauce. The peppers are at their best after being grilled. Be sure you toss the crusts on briefly before you add the toppings. This practice makes the crusts easier to handle and lets the crust brown slightly before you add your toppings.
Serve up this pizza cut into slices for an easy appetizer that everyone will remember. You can also serve individual pizzas as a complete meal or with a side salad. This grilled pizza recipe is one you will return to again and again because of its amazing flavor. You cannot get this from any restaurant; you have to make it at home on your own grill. Once you get the hang of it, you will wonder why you never threw a pizza on the grill before.
